How do reminders work?
When a payment is overdue or approaching its due date, Colvio makes it easy to send a follow-up reminder directly from the app. You can send a reminder via SMS or email. The app pre-fills a professional message with your bank details, and you review and send it using your phone's built-in Messages or Mail app. Colvio records the date of each reminder so you always know when you last followed up.
Can I edit invoices?
Yes. Tap any job in your client list or on the Today screen to open it, then use the edit option to update the amount, due date, description, or status. You can mark a job as paid or unpaid at any time.
Will I be notified when invoices are due?
Colvio's Today screen shows you overdue jobs, jobs due today, and upcoming jobs due within the next 3 days — all in one place. Open the app each morning to see exactly who needs a follow-up.
Can I customise follow-up reminders?
Yes. Colvio pre-fills a professional reminder message using your business name, bank details, and any payment link you've saved in Settings. You can edit the message before sending, and Colvio records the timestamp once you send it.
Does Colvio send invoices automatically?
No — Colvio is a payment follow-up tool, not an automatic invoicing system. You control when reminders are sent. The app simply makes it fast and easy to chase outstanding payments from your existing clients.
Is Colvio accounting software?
No. Colvio is a focused tool for tracking who owes you money and following up with a tap. It doesn't replace your accounting software — it works alongside it to help you get paid faster.
